Milo is an adult Boxer-mix who came to the shelter in October 2011 after being found loose on the streets. He is a medium-large dog and is smart and enjoys working with the handler on his obedience commands especially when he is rewarded with treats. Milo hasn’t shown a great interest in toys but he relishes petting and energetic walks. He is a strong dog who can be jumpy and pull on the leash when he becomes over-excited; for these reasons he needs a home with no small children. Milo makes good eye-contact and enjoys spending time with people once he has had an opportunity to get to know them. Milo needs a confident owner who will continue working on his obedience and leash work and of course offer lots of love and treats.
