URGENT Daisy Mae's Story...
Daisy is a one year old black spayed female Pekingese who was not being cared for well by her original owners. She was adopted to a home in Massachusetts in December and her new owners now say she is too active for their old dog. It is urgent for Daisy Mae to find a new home quickly as the current adopter is threatening to send her to the shelter!

Daisy Mae is house trained and crate trained. She is good with other dogs and cats. Daisy has had all of her vaccinations and tested negative for heartworms. She was on heartworm preventative while in her foster home. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

URGENT Daisy Mae, a Spring Valley Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
