My story

Ernie's adoption fee is $300.

Hi - my name is Ernie and I am a 3 yr. old black and white Shih Tzu. I weigh around 19 pounds and am neutered, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. My foster mom says that I am a real cuddly lovebug! I love to follow you around the house and be by your side wherever you may be (even when you are in the shower)! I am housebroken, but once in awhile if I have to go potty real bad and you are not paying attention to me, or you’re not home for a long period of time then I will go potty in the house which embarrasses me to do. I will sleep in a doggie bed, by your side on the couch and if you let me I love to sleep in bed with you. My foster mom says that I am so much better then a hot water bottle to keep you cozy warm at night.

My little dog buddy at my foster home and I love to play together, and though I will bark at strange dogs, I'm not aggressive. I also bark a bit when I meet new people, but if they let me come to them first and smell them, I am fine. I will play with toys and go fetch them but sometimes I forget to bring them back to you (that way you get a workout too!).I get a little anxious while my meals are being prepared because I can’t wait to eat!

To love and tenderly care for me is all I ask from you, and I would be so grateful and loving and promise to be your best friend 4ever!
