Remington's Story...
Remington is a fantastic 2 year old! He is already neutered, utd on all shots and is ready for a rescue or home! He was an owner surrender because the son gave him to the parents to care for and the dad did not have time for him and didn't want to see him tied on a chain, so he brought him to the shelter in hopes Remington would find that special someone. Remington is great with kids but since he is so bouncy we suggest he gets some obedience training. He LOVES and craves attention and wants to please anyone that comes his way. He is just an all around happy go lucky boy that is always joyful. He does get along great with other dogs and will even allow them to eat out of the same bowl as him as long as they do not growl at him. Remington really wants someone to finally love him and keep him forever. If you are that someone, please contact us soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington, a Durbin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Durbin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Durbin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Durbin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Durbin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Durbin paves the way for another one to be saved.
