SASHA's Story...
“SASHA” is 2 year old female, Black Lab/Whippet mix. She is very energetic and loves to run free, chase balls, and plays well with other dogs. She has been very good with kids and people, getting pretty excited and jumping for joy! She is house-trained and has all her paperwork that shows: rabies shot, spay procedure, and micro-chip for I.D. purposes. She is current with all her vaccines as well and there no other health issues. Sasha wants to be around people, and I know would be a great fit with the right person. She is a very loving dog, but needs someone that can give her a good amount of attention, and some time with her. That is why she is being given up for adoption. Her current owners feel that they do not have sufficient time to spend with Sasha. Maybe YOU can give her what she needs and Sasha can be a loving part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SASHA, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Whippet for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Whippet dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Whippet breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
