Kamali's Story...
Gaze into Kamali's beautiful blue eyes and she'll melt your heart, you'll fall in love and make you want to take her home. Kamali is a compact Siberian Husky, about 4 years old, who was turned in to our shelter by a heart broken owner who just can't keep her. She is a prime example of her breed...very sweet tempered and mild mannered. She knows her commands and walks with style and grace. Kamali is a gentle soul who appears good with animals and children of all ages, she seems aware of size and demeanor and acts respectfully towards all differences. This great girl would be happy to run or walk with you in almost any weather condition. And, after a long busy day, we bet she'd be just as happy to cuddle up with you in front of a roaring fire or the TV. She may even be convinced to act as a toe warmer. Kamali takes well to her kennel and doesn't seem to voice many complaints. Stop by and meet her today, now taking applications, but she won't be adoptable until November 28th after 6pm.
If you want to apply for this dog click here.
You can then email the application to the Meridian Animal Shelter.

All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kamali, a Meridian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
