My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Gatsby and I’m a dashing and adorable bichon boy of about four or five who is a very lucky boy. Let’s start with why I am so lucky.

Until the other day I was living on the street. Now I have a foster Mom who takes me on walks and rides, kids to play with (Mom says I REALLY like kids!) and a foster Dad who gave me toys to play with. I have a doggy foster brother who thinks I’m really neat and lots of people I can cuddle with! I no longer have to be alone! (Didn’t I tell you I’m lucky!).

Mom says that it doesn’t take much to get me into a ‘play mode’ – whether it’s with other dogs or people - I’m ready! I also like to play with fluffy toys. I like to get them and bring them back near her and get Mom to reach down and take them. Sometimes I like to nose my toys across the floor. Dad says I’m pretty cute and funny.

Mom and Dad agree that I’m smart, have already learned the ‘house rules’ - and that I want to please. They say that I’m an amazingly mellow little guy who is full of love … and that I like every person and dog I meet! I am active and have lots of energy – and lots of love to give. Dad says I have big bright eyes that shine and smile because I’m such a happy little guy!

There is one other thing that Mom and Dad agree is just about the cutest thing they have ever seen: It’s me when I watch TV. You see if there is a dog on TV I get up on my hind legs and look closely at them and talk to them. I’m trying to get them to come and play with me. Mom thinks, at some point, some other dog will!

I enjoy being with my doggy foster brother, enjoy the company of people and appreciate other dogs. My Forever Home could have children to play with -- and a doggy brother or sister would be great, too!

So if you are looking for a little love of a guy who is sweet, energetic, funny, comforting and just plain great (those are Mom’s words) then please complete our application and let’s get started.
