I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gabon's Story...
Gabon is a super playful border collie mix. His siblings are Congo (boy) and Somalia (girl) and his mother is Kenya (the border collie) - we are not sure what daddy was. He has such a cute little face with a white chin and white on his chest and toes. He LOVES to chase his siblings around. He loves to play and is the first one of the group to wag his tail and run over when he sees you. He loves to give and get kisses and LOVES to snuggle.

Gabon will get all of his puppy shots, big boy shots, and will be neutered and microchipped once old enough by Hope 4 Paws. An adoption applicaiton is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Nicole at NSwick@gmail.com.
The adoption fee for Gabon of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabon, a Plainfield Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
