Truman's Story...
Hi, my name is Truman. I am a male, about 15 months old and still a puppy. I am looking for a nice home with lots of "love" & patience. I have lots of energy, love being outside (when it's warm), love the kids, but I am very insecure about the "world" around me. I love to cuddle, give lots of kisses, and when you’re coming up to me, I like to roll over on my back so you can rub my belly. I am crate trained but with the luxuries of treats and music.

When I go to bed at night in the crate, I need to be in someone's room so I feel safe and secure. I do not like being alone at all. I am at someone's side all the time. I am potty trained but I do have my accidents.

If you give me all your love, I will give all my love back to you. All I want is a loving family that can deal with my insecurities and help me get strong. If you decide to give me a chance, you will not be making a mistake because I'm a cute, cuddling, love giving machine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Truman, a Pittsburgh Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
