Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DUKE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Duke is a handsome, 5 year old, 40 pound, male Beagle/Australian Shepherd/Hound This poor fellow was turned into an overburdened pound in southern IL. His owner was diagnosed with terminal cancer and could no longer care for him. Duke is a sweet boy that is looking for another family to love him again. He can be a little timid at first, but he warms up quickly. Duke is a quiet, gentle and mild mannered soul. He is very well behaved and will make an excellent companion. He is crate trained and housebroken and gets along well with other dogs. Unfortunately, Duke was diagnosed with a mild case of heartworm, but he has since been treated and will make a full recovery.
Duke's adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Duke from euthanasia.
