Peanut's Story...
My name is Peanut, but my foster mom calls me her Little Ewok. I am heartbreakingly cute! I'm a bundle of energy and I'm fearless. I'm always up for playing with cats, kids, or other dogs. I LOVE to cuddle and I love to play. I like toys - especially if you'll play with me. I'm going to be pretty small - my foster mom thinks I won't be more than about 20 pounds, but I've got a HUGE personality! I'd love a family with kids, with cats, or with other dogs - big or small. If you'd like to meet me, please call my foster mom, Cathy, at (619) 822-1577 or email her at catherine888@mac.com. I'd love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Chula Vista Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
