Daisy is a happy girl and gets along well with other cats. She is best with boy cats.  Daisy is shy around humans but learns to trust when she sees humans mean her no harm. Daisy, loves to rub her little chin against your hand, and rub against your leg, meowing gently. Daisy appears to be a Turkish Van with luxurious white long thick hair.

For people who do not like shedding, this is not the cat for you as she will shed.

Daisy was likely put out very early in her life and had turned feral. When she was heavily pregnant, we saw her being chased up trees by hungry street dogs.  We tried to help her but she would not let us touch or catch her.  Eventually she birthed her babies under a neighbor’s house and when the kittens were about 8 weeks old  brought them to our catery to eat. That’s when we had our chance to trap her and bring her inside to safety.

It took her a while but she slowly learned that we meant her no harm and she learned to trust us and love on us. But she is understandably very shy with new people. The person who adopts her must have experience with shy cats. Patience is a must to let Daisy learn to trust her new person too.

Daisy will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Reference and vet checks as well as a home visit are required. Daisy's adoption donation is $90 will be used to help other needy and abandoned cats.
