Brandy's Story...
Brandy and her littermates recently arrived from WV ~ Her mom was a stray that was taken in by kind couple but she was never claimed ~ They fell in love with her and decided to keep her ~ She then blessed them with 6 beautiful pups ~ The couple agreed to care for them until they were old enough to be sent to rescue so they would not have to be exposed to the shelter environment ~ Mom appears to be a toller mix, maybe some golden and dad is a mystery ~ They were born Sept 14th and will be 10 weeks old 11/23/2011 ~ They are well socialized and doing very well in their foster home with the dogs, cats, and kids ~ They are up to date with vaccinations and ready to find loving forever homes of their own* Brandy weighs 10lbs 3ozs*
~~~Please email rescue-me@earthlink.net to have an application emailed to you to submit for possible approval ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Brandy, a Milford Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Milford, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
