My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Godiva is a VERY special dog! She was brought in to a local emergency vet clinic by a good samaritan. She had a rope or a chain so deeply embedded into her neck that she needed many stitches to close up the wound left by its removal. She clearly lived most of her tied up outdoors, with little or no shelter. Her beautiful chocolate brown coat has been bleached and dried out by the constant exposure to the elements. She has recently had puppies; of course she arrived without them. And someone did a terrible whack job on her ears. Despite all of this, Godiva has an INCREDIBLE temperament! She is wildly affectionate and loving; she'll crawl into your lap at the first opportunity. She's so good around other animals that she's spent several days in the office, surrounded by the rest of the menagerie.

We think Godiva is about 4 years old. She has recently been spayed. We want her to go to a very special home where she will be showered with love and attention for the rest of her life. She deserves nothing less!
