Approx. 1yr.old..approx. 50lbs(when at proper weight), Very sweet, gentle, mellow and submissive. Great on leash, affectionate and good with dogs she met. She was found dumped in a wooded area near a local carwash. She was covered in dry feces and urine and extrmely thin. Its believed she was dumped there once her babies were born. NO PUPS were found in the area. She is starving for love and TLC LEGAL DAY OF ADOPTION IS 11-29

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering a dog from City of Hartford Animal Shelter must first fill out an application. We are in the process of working to set up a link for an on line application, in the meantime please email us at ctshelterdogs@gmail.com and we will send you the application. Sherry the ACO, will be reviewing all of these applications prior to setting up appointments to meet the dogs. We are moving forward to establish a more thorough screening process to ensure these dogs end up in responsible homes.
We are unable to test our dogs with cats or kids. If you have children and or cats /dogs please bring them with you to your appointment.
