My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Okay so perhaps he is not a German Shepherd but he does have the colouring of one! Rocky is actually just a tiny 5 lbs cuddly, people pleaser. He is friendly with everyone including children but because of his size we would like him placed in a home with older children only. His foster family adores this little man and so they should. Rocky is approximately 1 1/2 - 2 years old.

Rocky can be a little timid in new situations and is still just a baby in many ways. He is good with all people and has not shown the usual Chihuahua aggression towards strangers. He is good with other dogs but is just learning that cats are not going to kill him but is still a little afraid of them if they get too close.

Rocky is not a yappy dog either and barks only when necessary. He is crate trained but does not need a crate as he is fully house trained. He does like to take a romp in the yard now and then but of course is happiest when he is with his people or sitting in your lap. His foster family says he has a nice shiny coat and that he appears to be a very low shedder. They also said that he has great house manners, that he is not as playful as they thought being more of a little gentleman and that he loves to go for car rides.

Rocky is really a great little companion for someone that would like to have a friend. He would easily go anywhere with you as he is very social and would be ideal for someone that wanted to take their dog to work. He is quiet enough to live in an apartment setting but he does enjoy having a yard to romp around in. He would not make a good child's companion as he is not that playful perfering instead to just be with his person and like many Chi's is more like a little person himself.
