Sissy's Story...
My story: Hi there! My name is Sissy. I'm around 5 months old and I am very much a little lady. I can be shy, but once I trust you I will love all over you. I love fluffy blankets, laying in the sun watching squirrels, playing with my sister and my foster friends (yes, even the dog) and those squishy, shiny ball things. I love to snuggle, but I don't like to be held. I am very attached to my sister Sweetness and she would have to come with me because I would just miss her too much. She is the ying to my yang. Would you help make our family complete?
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
