BOLT's Info...

BOLT's Story...
Bolt is a 1 year old yellow lab male. He is on the skinny side, but has great confirmation. He will be a beautiful boy once he gets some love a some fat on his bones. Hes looking for a female adopter. Right now, he has some security issues with men. He hasn’t aggressively approached any male so far, but he will hide behind his female foster mom and growl to protect her. We are no sure what in his past has made him afraid of men. His foster mom is working with him and having only male figures feed him and walk him to try and get him over his insecurities. Hes also little shy and actually runs from the puppies in the house. He will make a great addition to a single mom’s home or even an older female looking for a canine companion. He is neutered and is current on all shots and is fostered in Tampa with Lori. If you are interested, please send an email to flretrieverrescue@yahoo.com with the dog’s name in the subject line. The $200 adoption fee helps to cover my first 2 shots, Dewormer, rabies and neuter/spay fees. You can also check out all of the other foster dogs and puppies that the FARR (Florida All Retriever and Friends Rescue) have currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting Adopt-A-Pet http://www.adoptapet.com/adoption_rescue/75598.html or Pet Finder http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=FL466 or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOLT, a Largo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
