My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This darling pup is being socialized and shown lots of love by their foster mom but need to find a suitable, committed family to call his own. Platinum is totally sweet but unsure having lived what he has of his short life in a barn. He is now clean and happy, playful and so wanting affection. Platinum is almost 6 months old.

Platinum is enjoying the attention of his foster family and is coming along very nicely. He is crate trained and in the process of being house trained which we expect will go very quickly once he is in his forever home. Platinum is an alert, active pup that enjoys being outside and who would make a lovely family companion. He has been socialized with other dogs, cats and children. He is still somewhat shy when meeting strangers but within minutes he is coming to you for cuddles and affection. This will improve once he starts getting real one on one attention from his new family.

Both Copper and his brother Platinum are very gentle, sweet pups. Amusing, trustworthy with ever wagging tails. They would be good with children of all ages and would love a back yard to run around and play in. They would be fine as a second dog in the home or as the only pet. They would be fine for apartment living as they are quiet in the home but would need daily exercise to keep their minds stimulated and grow into healthy, happy adults. Of course they would be best in a home with a backyard where they can chase leaves, catch snowflakes and would love to have someone to toss a ball around for them.

These are two beautiful pups with silky coats and when they look up at you with those soulful eyes, it is hard to resist them. They will need some grooming to keep their lovely coats looking their best and their big cat-like paws trimmed in winter weather.

Still one of the most popular breeds because of their playful, sweet disposition, their friendliness with people and other animals and their family loyalty.

If you think either Copper or Platinum would be a good choice for your family, please visit our website at http://uglymutts.com and submit an application for consideration.
