My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Campbell is a fun, frisky boy, born about 9/27/11, who was brought to the shelter after something went into the barn where he was living, and killed his mama and all his siblings. Somehow, Campbell survived completely unharmed, and seems to have gotten over the shock. He is playful and enjoys the other kittens in his foster home, and is very affectionate and outgoing with all the new people he is meeting. He gets along particularly well with Andalucia, who arrived at just about the same time he did.

Since he grew up living in a barn, he will do well as an indoor or indoor-outdoor cat; he is much too attached to people to be an outdoor-only kitty, though! He will be ready to go home 12/1/11.

If you are interested in adopting just one kitten, and do not have a similarly aged kitten at home to be a playmate, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome, and let us know you are aware of the possibility of SKS and how you plan to mitigate the symptoms, in the comments section of the application.

All kittens will arrive spayed/neutered, wormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee for Campbell is suggested minimum $58 (more gratefully accepted); discount for pair kitten adoptions!. All kittens are placed with a 3-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
