My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby is a 4-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky whose previous owner became seriously ill and couldn't keep her. Prior to coming into our rescue, Baby was kept in a small kennel run behind a barn and used for breeding puppies! We are happy she is now going to have a chance to become someone's pet! Baby is a high energy girl who thrives on attention from humans! She is very loving and enjoys being petted and brushed. She is currently in a foster home with some wonderful people who have been teaching her some basic commands and they have also housetrained her. Baby's foster Mom recently provided the following update:


Baby is good with other dogs now. She is a little aggressive with other females at times, but is good with the males. She plays a little rough. She is afraid of storms and can be destructive if no one is at home to let her in. Overall, Baby is becoming much more calm. When she comes in the house, she will come over to be petted and then she lies on the floor and is very well behaved. She sits for treats and is not food aggressive anymore.


If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.


All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.
