Casper's Story...
Hi my name is Casper and I'm a one year old Westie mix who was returned to the shelter after my owners lost their home and had no way to care for me. They also said I didn't like the kids in the house, but there were too many of them and I'm just a little guy who was bothered by all of the commotion. They also didn't take the time to house break me so I'll need an owner who is willing to devote some time to my training but I'm a young, playful, very happy little boy who will make an excellent pup in the right home with the right people - if that could be you, please stop by to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Agoura Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Westie, West Highland White Terrier for sale in Agoura, or seeking a Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog from a breeder in Agoura.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Agoura already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Agoura breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Westie, West Highland White Terrier breeders who help with Westie, West Highland White Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Agoura paves the way for another one to be saved.
