My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am Trace,
I am still young, under a year, and boy what a year. I was trapped in a TNR project, me and my siblings were brought to the shelter, my sibling's have all been adopted, I am the only one left, I had an eye problem, so they took me to the vet and they did surgery to remove my eye. But I don't let that hold me back, I love to sit on your lap, or you hold me and hug me and I hug back!
I talked with an older cat named Hemmingway, he lost his eye years ago and he told me "kid aint no big deal, you can still do everything other cats do"
This made me feel better about my self, and the great people who take care of all of us tell me I am still a handsome young boy..
So please if you don't mind if I have only one eye, please call to make an appointment to meet me at the shelter or at Petsmart, I really want my own person in time for Christmas.

You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.

None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how handsome I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
If you are interested in providing a home for Trace please go to our website, download our adoption application and email it to us at afsga@att.net.
