Jolie's Story...
Jolie is a small, sleek, soft coated kitten (about 3 mos old) with a middle initial of "F" which could stand for friendly, fun or feisty, be we think it simply stands for " "Fantastic!" Jolie will be playing & tumbling one minute with a furry mouse toy or ball, and then will run and jump in a lap for some love and attention, purring loudly all the while. She loves to be up on your shoulder or cuddled in a lap but also adores feathery toys and entertaining you while you watch in amazement at her energy and enthusiasm. She enjoys the company of other kittens as well, especially her foster brother Luigi. Wouldn't it be "purr-fect" if they could stay together? Jolie is in foster care in Burke, VA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jolie, a Arlington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
