OREO's Story...
Oreo was sheduled to be euthanized Tuesday November 29th - we HAD to steep in and save this gorgoues, smart, loving boy! Oreo passed his temperment testing with Straight A's! We believe he is about 1 year old. He has beautiful markings and is very sweet and submissive to other dogs. He is very docile. He preferred to lay on the ground and look at us when he was being assessed. When we did the "paw squeeze" he would lick our face and put his paw back up as if he knew that trick and had assumed that's what we wanted him to do. Oreo is Microchipped, will be neutered and up to date on all shots. Oreo would be a great family dog as he is a great listener and wants to please. He is leash trained, loves the car and turns into a wiggle butt when he sees kids! All Tracking Lucky Dogs come with 1 FREE training session at Karin's Kanines!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OREO, a Painesville Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in Painesville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Painesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Painesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Painesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Painesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
