MAGGIE's Story...

Hi all you families out there! My name is Maggie, and I am a gorgeous young adult Malamute who is interviewing for a new home after my last one dumped me in a kill shelter. I am 4-5 years of age, friendly with dogs, ignore cats, and love children. I like all humans, actually, and will follow one of them before I will a canine buddy. I am mellow and sweet, and while I don't have a whole lot of house, leash, or obedience training yet, my foster mom and her son are working on those things with me, and they say I learn quick and am a joy to be with! I will make a wonderful companion for any lucky family, and will come to you with all vet work and inoculations, as well as micro chipped. Won't you give me a new loving home all my own? I can't wait to make your day!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAGGIE, a Boise Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Boise, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
