My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dinah. 1-2 yo Black & White Maine Coon.
Dinah was a shelter favorite in South Central Oregon so they were
VERY happy when Purebreds Plus took an interest in finding her a
Forever Home. This is an area where we find many Maine Coons, and
have had great luck with the health and temperament of these cats.
Dinah is "everything Maine Coon". She's a big girl, probably in the
12 lbs range which is average size for a Maine Coon female. She has
good conformation for the breed, long body, silky fur, good mane
around the front, long tail, big feet with toe tufts. Oh, and did we
mention the "dog like personality"? Yup, that's our girl. We could
hardly make the bed with her rolling around trying to get our
attention. She follows her foster mom all over the house and is very
interested in helping in any way she can. Dinah is a polite kitty,
although it did take her just a couple of days to resume sharing her
humans. She was so happy to find herself in a home that she was a bit
hissy for a day or so. Now, she's settle down, ignores the dogs, and
realizes that those flat faced things called "Persians" are actually
the same species as she. ("eeeewww ",she says) Dinah will be happy as
an only cat or in a multicat home. She would be fine with older
children. She might be OK with young children, but she seems so
elegant, she probably wouldn't be the right companion for someone
needing a playmate for the kids. Dinah loves to sleep on the bed at
night, and even snuggled down under the covers with a young lad when
she over-nighted during a transport. A very adaptable cat.
