My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Z.Z. Sausage is a female Boston Terrier/Jack Russel Terrier Mix about 17 lbs, and is 1 to 1 1/2 years old. Z. is a very energetic little girl, but she also loves to sit in your lap for hours to be loved. She loves to cuddle, and be loved. She is always wanting your attention. She's great in the house, and she follows you to were ever you are. She still somewhat of a puppy, and likes to chew on her bones. She is great with other dogs, large and small, she is okay with her foster home cat (she does try to play with the cat). She is crated while her foster family is out, but has the run of the house while they are home, and even sleeps all night on the bottom of their bed. She was an unhappy, outside only dog when coming into the rescue, and so she is almost 100% housetrained. She does go to the door. She loves to be indoors with her foster family, and is so much happier indoors, that she needs to go to an indoor only house. Z. will make a great family pet for any family. She really is a sweet fun loving little girl.

Z. has been in her foster home since January 2007, since she had a seizure in the first week of being there. Z. hasn't had any more seizures since January, and has had several tests to make sure she is 100% heathly before being posted for adoption. She has had an extensive blood panel done, and an EKG, and both test came back completely healthy, and no signs of what could have caused her seizure. Our vet. says she is 100% healthy, and should live a normal happy long life. She also doesn't take any form of medicine, due to not having anymore seizures. This is why she's posted Special Needs, due to the fact that she might have small random seizures all her life, due to the breed
Z has had all her shots, de-wormed, and is microchipped. She is heartworm negative, and does come with her heartworm pills, (thanks to her foster home for buying her a 6 month supply) Plus she is scheduled for her spay on March 22, 07. She will be available for adoption on Friday March 23, 07 after her spay.

If you're interested in meeting/adopting sweet Z.Z. please fill out an online application at www.utahlabrescue.com. You can meet Z.Z. before Thursday if you would like too, she just needs to stay until after her spay. Thanks.

Z.Z. Adoption Donation Fee is $225.00 which goes into a pooled medical fund for the whole rescue which helps cover her shots, microchip, heartworm test, spay, and dewormings.
