My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Izzie was rescued from a high kill shelter after coming in as a stray. She is a fawn colored short hair purebred Chihuahua who appears to be around three years old. Izzie is a little timid when she first meets you, but her foster mom says she warmed right up and now just wants to be in her lap all day long. Izzie sleeps in a crate at night, but would be more than happy to snuggle up with you in your bed. Izzie is great with \ other pets, however she does growl a little when another dog comes up in your lap when you’re holding her. Izzie is trained to go outside and does not potty in the house as long as you take her out. Izzy is a very timid dog and will lay down as you approach her to be picked up. Izzie only barks when she can see you but not get to you, otherwise she is very quiet. She only weighs 4 pounds, so she needs someone who will understand that she is a tiny baby that needs special attention. Izzy does not bite or chew things, she is perfectly happy living her life laying in your lap or napping next to you on the couch.
Izzy needs an experienced dog owner that has had tiny dogs.
