Rommell's Story...
THIS IS AN ASSISTED PLACEMENT! For more information or to adopt Rommell, please contact Theresa at dals@rockyspot.org.

My name is Rommell and I need a new home. I am a wonderful 5-year-old pit bull. I am a big baby - all bark and no bite! I'm a lover, not a fighter. I am good with older kids, and OK with other large dogs (especially if they are female). I am very housebroken and well mannered. I can even use a doggie door! I do need regular exercise to help keep me well behaved. I am a soulmate dog who bonds to his family... could your family be the next one I bond to? Please email and ask about adopting me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rommell, a Newcastle American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
