ELLIOT's Story...
Elliot is an awesome boy, quiet, easygoing, unassuming. I can tell that someone loved him once, but somehow he ended up at the shelter anyway (where he was on the e-list) and eventually put up for adoption at petsmart.

Elliot is very friendly with people; he is quiet, uses his litterbox, his scratching posts -- he has not touched my furniture since he has been at my house. Elliot is the almost perfect pet. He would do best as an only pet -- for some reason, he doesn't like other cats. Strange, but true. He probably also needs a quiet household.

Elliot has tested negative for FELV, FIV, and heartworm. He is current on vaccinations. I am having his teeth cleaned on Friday – so he will be in perfect condition when he gets adopted.

The ideal home would be someone who has been around cats before but does not currently have a cat. I would be happy to take him back if he does not work out – so there is no risk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ELLIOT, a Phoenix Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
