Ollie's Story...
This is Ollie a 2 year old Male who was turned over to us by one of the local Humane Societies. He had been brought to them 10 days previously as the victim of a dog fight. They had vetting done on him, but it was not adequate to his needs, and his owners refused to pay for any vet costs when they were found. Hence Ollie was signed over to rescue.

Ollie cannot be adopted out until his very serious injuries are taken care of. However we are considering homes for him down the line.

We have had several offers of donations towards Ollies vetting costs. If you wish to make a donation please contact Serena Galloway at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Centinnial Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Centinnial, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Centinnial.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Centinnial already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Centinnial breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Centinnial paves the way for another one to be saved.
