Scrappy's Story...
This cutie is Scrappy, he was saved from a local animal shelter after his mommy was found as a stray with a litter of puppies. All became urgent after the shelter got extremely full. He's the last one out his litter and desperately needs to find his happily ever after as well! Scrappy is a happy go lucky boy who loves other dogs and children. Scrappy absolutely adores the four children in his current home. He's also housebroken and crate trained. He's approximately 10 months old. Scrappy is fully vetted, which includes; neutered, all vaccines, heartworm negative, kept on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. Scrappy has had a wonderful donor sponsor half of his adoption fee, this makes it only $65 to adopt! : )

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy, a Arlington Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
