Juno's Story...
Juno is about 9 weeks old. She was found with her sister Rosie, outside freezing during a recent cold spell. Sadly, we could not find their mom or any other siblings, so we are unsure what happened to them. We have watched the transformation of these two little girls from hiding at the sound of us to following us around, asking for attention. The first time they purred we were jumping around cheering! Juno is used to a busy house with dogs and big cats and the cuddles of kids. She would love to go as a pair with her siste,r but would also do well as long as she has another feline companion.

If you would like to take Juno home, please visit our website at to learn about our adoption process & fees, or to fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Okotoks Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
