Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jack's Story...
Jack is a 3 year old stunning black labby boy. He is a big boy and weighs about 75 lbs. He is good with other dogs, okay with cats and has been socialized with men, women and older children. He is an active boy and will do well with an active family, but he also knows how to calm down and just hang out. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the kitty cats. Jack is crate trained, and walks okay on lead, but could use some obedience training to improve his gentlemen skills. He has a sweet demeanor and will do well in most family situations. Jack would be a great dog to take swimming, hiking, boating, running or walking. He would be awesome at playing with the tennis ball and frisbee. Jack likes to chew on kong balls and compressed rawhide bones and definitely loves to get good boy treats. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. Jack is also microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you would like to add this stunning fellow to your family, please request him on the notes section of our online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
