Dripples's Story...
Okay, let me start by saying, I AM SPOILED, I AM SPOILED, I AM SPOILED and I am a PRINCESS! I am a cry baby and foster mom gives into me. Hee!! Hee!! I want to be held all of the time. I will follow you around crying until you pick me up. Then I will kiss your nose, chin or cheek. I can win your heart over with my adorable face and sweet meow. I can be a bit of a talker when I have something on my mind and usually that is I WANT ATTENTION. I am a cuddler. I like to lay close and have my chin rubbed, head rubbed and tummy very gently rubbed. I will purr and purr and purr…but when you stop…then I cry. My favorite place to sleep is close to feel your heart beat or next to you r neck so I can give you kisses all night. See my milk mustache! Look real close…. I'm going to be in a commercial one day. I just know it. I'm too cute not to be loved by all. I do like to play with the fuzzy mouse and the ball in the ring. Let's go home so I can give you kisses while you sleep. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dripples, a Smithfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
