Meow! My name is Elle

Elle is a pretty medium haired girl that we took in due to being 'the last man standing' and wanting to keep her out of harm's way.  In early May of this year, her feral mother gave birth to her and four siblings in a box I had placed for shelter for her mother and mother's brother.  Momma kept them there for a couple days and then decided to move them to a less obvious location.   We let nature take it's course, as they say , and over a couple weeks noticed that Momma moved them around to a couple different places.  We thought most likely all was well until I happened to walk to the far end of our back yard back in June and saw just Momma and Elle sitting in a trailer we have back there.  My heart sank as I knew Momma wouldn't have left the others alone.  We then saw raccoon paw marks on the front edge of the trailer and figured that Momma must have been dodging raccoons in an effort to keep the kittens safe.  We took Elle in because we didn't want the same fate for her.  She was four weeks old at the time and I bottle fed her for two more weeks and then graduated her to kitten food.  We already have four cats, and have now decided to give her up to someone who can give her a fabulous home.

  Medium haired cats are not overly common.  Elle has the softest fur, just like silk.  The inside of her right eye has a unique marking, kind of like eyeliner.  She is quiet and lady like - I've often thought that this may be why she survived.  She has been vet checked twice when she had all her series of shots and her stool was negative.  She gets along fine with our other cats, two older and two younger.  Elle is spayed, tested negative for fiv/felv, microchipped, vaccinated.
