Colby's Story...
Colby is the sweetest little man you will ever meet! He is easy going and loves curling up in your lap for a nap. He gets along with other dogs and not much bothers him! He likes to be where the action is in the house and you'll find that he loves following you where ever you go with his long tail wagging. Colby's passions include squeaky toys, treats, and going for walks outside. He is crate trained and potty trained and lets himself out through the dog door when he needs to go. He is super smart and picks up on things really quickly. Colby is now learning to "sit" and comes when you call him. His foster mom is really proud of his progress and the way he is learning manners so quickly! He is a bit on the thin side but now that he is in a foster home, Colby LOVES to eat! He won't be very thin for much longer! If you are interested in adopting this awesome guy please feel free to inquire for an application. His adoption fee is $300 and helps with his neuter, shots, worming, microchip, health certificate and transport costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colby, a Seattle Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
