My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Myla, Female 1-2 yrs. Brown/orange/black/white -medium length, angora, very loyal, friendly and affectionate, good with one or 2 cats and older kids.

Myla is one of those cats that you know has always trusted humans (the nice ones of course). She instantly wants to be petted and craves your attention. Myla has rediscovered Her own kittenhood. It's wonderful to see her playing up a virtual storm alone in a large cage (where she likes to be in on occasion).

We rescued her from our vet after she was brought in with her newborn kittens to be 'disposed of'. Of course our great vet let her nurse her kittens until they were ready to be adopted. Just as they had reached the right age, another very pregnant mom was brought in, very ill. The vet tried to save her as she delivered the 3 kittens, but the mom died. Our vet then gave these newborns to Myla and she graciously accepted them and nursed them also. After all the kittens were adopted I was asked if I would take her in. She had become quite the favorite with the staff and why not?

Myla has now adjusted quite well to the other residents. She is a bit of a Queen with a few of the other 'queens' but doesn't get too serious with their little tiffs for space (it is at a very big premium here so we can't blame them, right?)

If you're searching for a sweet, happy-natured beauty who pines for you only, she is waiting!
