Moorehouse's Story...
Catch me if you can.

Moorehouse is a 6 month old neutered male. He is micro-chipped, current on all his vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Moorehouse is fast. He can zip out of a carrier and around a room faster than you can blink. But catch him and cuddle him and he'll never leave you. He loves to be held and cuddled and will purr up a storm. He is more than content to lay in you lap as long as he receives lots of attention.

Moorehouse is an indoor only cat. He is fine with other cats. He would probably be fine with older children and could adapt to living with a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moorehouse, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
