Brownie's Story...
Brownie is soooooo cute. She is seriously a minnie lab and is 1/2 the size of an average labby girl. She weighs only 35 to 40lbs and has a gorgeous chocolate colored coat. It is shiny and soft and she has the cutest little frame and face. Brownie is about 1 year old and is a real sweetie too. She is funny, playful, but can calm down, and loves her human attention. She also loves those scrumptous treats too and gets them just for being so darn cute. Brownie will do good in a variety of family situations and has been socialized with men, women and children. She is good with all other dogs and is even okay with the cats. What a great girl who will make an awesome addition to any household whether a family with smaller children to a single person as a companion dog. Brownie is crate trained, working on house manners and is considered a medium energy girl for a labby of her age. Ofcourse she will need appropriate exercise, but is a treat to be around. Brownie is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you are interested in adopting this beauty, please complete an online application and request her on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
