Chopper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chopper's Story...
Chopper came from a high kill shelter in the Eastern part of NC. The shelter is right next to the landfill, as most are- but workers saw a lady speed by, to the landfill, get out with 3 dogs, grab 2, throw them in the car and speed away, leaving Chopper chasing after the car. Not only is Chopper adorable but he is also incredibly sweet. He loves to be close, to be touching you, and he loves to play with the other dogs as well. Typical beagle personality...happy happy happy. :) Chopper is Heartworm negative and up to date on shots. If you would like more information about this wonderful little boy, please contact me. His adoption fee is $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chopper, a Bakersville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Bakersville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Bakersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bakersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bakersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bakersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
