Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a WONDERFUL dog who loves kids. He is being fostered by the family who got him off the streets and the 10 year old boy is "in charge" and Tucker loves him. He was found in Central Los Angeles just wandering the streets. And while he was neutered and knows his commands, Tucker had no collar, no tag and wasn't microchipped. Tucker haD entropia which means that his eyelashes are growing in so they are causing his eye to tear. Through the generosity of our volunteers and supporters, we raised the money for his surgery and he is finally able to see clearly and living a pain free life! Soft, big and cuddly....that's how we describe Tucker!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a West Los Angeles St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
