My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl with the “roman” nose has changed quite a bit since entering foster care. She spent several weeks dealing with some extreme anxiety, To help her calm down and learn to adjust to life as a pet, we started Jenny on Fluoxetine (Prozac). She has improved tremendously and has become a gentle, playful and affectionate gal who loves people. She’s grown so much that she recently qualified as an AKC Certified Therapy Dog and has been awarded her Canine Good Citizen designation. She gets along well with the other greyhounds in her foster home but is not particularly fond of cats.

Jenny will do best in a home where there are no cats, and where someone is home most of the time and she doesn’t have to be confined in a crate, which truly causes her great anxiety. She is a lovely girl who just needs an understanding family to help her realize that she is finally home!
