My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

8/26/12 - ADOPTION PENDING!

Adoption Fee: $150

Fostered in Texas

Age: 11 years

Weight: 7 lbs.

5/17/12 - Hello all! It's about time for me to give you an update on how I am doing. I have completely adjusted to my foster home and I know how to let everyone know what I want.

My allergies are under control with daily medicine and a vegitarian diet. I will need follow ups to check my liver function to make sure the meds are not affecting it.

I co-exist well with my brothers and sisters but would not mind being the sole princess in my furever home. I have a sweet personality that is there to greet you when you come home. I love to snuggle beside a human for a nap and I am still very playful for a 12 year old. I am open to sharing my love and much joy with a family who will cherish me. That means you, are you emailing me yet?

12/21/11 - Hi I'm Shelly and I guess I should tell you a little about me. You can see my age as 11, but everyone I meet never believes me. I'm a youthful lady who will dance each time my new parents arrive home. I like the play around on the sofa before snuggling to sleep by my parents or my new friend Buddy. I came to the haven from a loving family who pampered me my whole life. I lost my stay at home dad last year which was a sad adjustment, but it was made harder because my mom traveled every week and was forced to board me at least 3 days a week. She made the hardest decision and sent me to the haven so I could be with a family that could give me the constant love I needed. I have done so well in my foster home with siblings(which I'd never had before), potty training, and even the cat that lives here. As you can see from my pictures, I'm a very blonde almost white now and gorgeous if I do say so myself(I'm told quite frequently). I must tell you, I need a little time before I can go to my forever home. I have skin allergies that have been managed for most of my life. Unfortunely the treatment that was working for so long has started to affect my liver. So we are having to alter my medicines. It will be a few months before I can go to my forever home. I promise I'm worth the wait, so you just go ahead and complete the application. I'll be waiting for you.
