Kelly's Story...
Hi! My name is Kelly. I am a very sweet girl that is just waiting for my *furever* home. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on all vaccines and microchipped. I am 8 years old.I weigh about 35 lbs...and I know Spanish and English! I am crate trained and housebroken, and I get along well with other dogs. I don't mind cats, either! I like to play with the children in my foster home, too.My favorite thing to do is lay on the couch or on a dog bed in a patch of sunshine. I am not a big barker or a howler, and I just need a retirement home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Newark Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Newark, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
