Robbie is a six-month-old yellow Australian Shepherd/Border Collie/Lab mix puppy. He was born with a naturally bobbed tail as most Aussie Shepherds are. Robbie was returned to the rescue because the mother of the home that he was adopted to developed a recurring childhood asthma. He was rescued as a two-day-old newborn, born under a hedge with his four siblings and his momma by Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue. He was adopted at 8 weeks of age and now, four months later, he is back at the rescue needing another home.

Robbie is a fun loving and bright boy. He loves to play on the grass and chew on tree branches and sticks, or play with toys. He is potty-trained and will let you know when he wants to go (he stands by the door or barks). He enjoys family TV time. Robbie loves taking naps on the sofa and loves his daily walks. Because he is still a puppy, he still loves to chew on things so just do not leave him unattended. However, he will listen to you if you say “NO Robbie.”

Robbie is crate-trained and he sleeps in his crate. He likes his weekly warm baths but just does not like it when you try and brush his teeth. Robbie is very good with kids too. Though Robbie may look larger in the photos, he is a medium-sized dog, weighing only about 35 lbs. He was not around other dogs in his first home, but it is clear since returning to the rescue that he is dog social and friendly with other dogs. Though he is submissive in the back and has sometimes flipped on his back, he tries to play and seeks friendship in the other dogs both big and small.

Robbie is neutered, fully vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped.
