Spike & Bella's Story...

spike and Bella need a new home. Their family moved here from AL and with 3 young kids, they do not have time for the dog.  These dogs are kept outdoor and they haven't had any training.  They need someone to work with them.

Spike is a black Dane and he is 4 years old.  Bella is blue and white and she is 2 years old.

If interested, please fill out our adoption application.

Adoption Process:

Please view the dogs we have available for adoption. If you see a dog you would like to adopt, you need to fill out the Adoption Application on our website. Once an application is received, it will be reviewed.  If the dog you applied for is available and if your application is approved and it seems like it may be a good match for you and the dog, then we will contact you to arrange a meet-n-greet.

If you applied for a dog and you haven't heard from us, it's because we are very busy.  Please feel free to email us and ask for an update on your application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike & Bella, a Austin Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Austin, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
