Puppies's Story...
Puppies! 2 Females, 1 Male Born around October 15th, they are almost ready for adoptions. Weighing in at a whopping 1.5 pounds each we figure they are a designer breed of chihuahua and maltese. The male and one of the females have longer, fuzzy hair. The other female is a smooth coat. Thanks to the good people at BARC who rescued these puppies and the foster homes that nursed them to health, these puppies were giving a chance to grow up. They will all be spayed/neutered, microchipped and fully vetted before they are adopted out. But, if you're looking for a precious, tiny puppy, fill out an application quickly, as these darlings won't last long. The adoption fee is $100.

Meet our dogs! They will be available for adoption this weekend at Uptown Park Adoption Center:
1141-03 Uptown Park Blvd (Next to Potbelly Sandwiches), Houston, TX 77056
Saturdays 10-6pm
Sundays 11-4pm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppies, a Houston Chihuahua/Maltese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Maltese for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Maltese puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Maltese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
