REDUCED Thelma Selma's Story...
Thelma is an 8 year old female lab/rottie mix who has lived with her sister Louise all of her life. The sisters do not have to be adopted together though.

Thelma weighs about 55 pounds, is spayed, and is current on her vaccinations. She is housetrained and very quiet. Thelma is blind in her left eye, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She also has heartworms, which she is currently being treated for.

Thelma and Louise are two very sweet older girls that just want a comfortable home to live out their last few years.

Thelma and Louise's adoption fee has been reduced. Please contact us for more information. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

REDUCED Thelma Selma, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
